A task is typically initiated through the Projects section of stackd. To learn more about tasks, go to Project Activity & Communication.
However, there may be times when a task is created based on the next step from a Review.
View Tasks Assigned To You
- Navigate to “Collaboration Hub”
- Ensure you’re on the Inbox tab (default)
- Use the “Filter” button and deselect every button but “Tasks”
When filtering, you can also ensure both complete and incomplete tasks are displayed and select the priority associated.
Mark a Task as Complete
- Review an open task by following the instructions for View Tasks Assigned To You
- Select “More Actions”
- Click “Complete”
Review a Task & Complete
- Review an open task by following the instructions for View Tasks Assigned To You
- Select “Details”
- This will open the slide-over detail pane
- Review all details
- Click “Mark as Complete”
View Tasks You Assigned
- Navigate to “Collaboration Hub”
- Ensure you’re on the Outbox tab
- Use the “Filter” button and deselect every button but “Tasks”
Forward a Task
- Review an open task by following the instructions for View Tasks Assigned To You
- Select “Details”
- This will open the slide-over detail pane
- Click “Forward Task”
- Select the user that you’re wanting to forward the task to from the dropdown
- Add a note if necessary
- Click “Forward Task”
Once a task is forwarded, you will no longer see it in your Collaboration Hub inbox; instead, you will see it in your outbox.
A log of task forwards will be shown on the task, and a history will be kept for reference.
